Role: director, video editor, game capture, environment & viz-post artist, Writer
During almost 8 years at Rooster Teeth, my responsibilities primarily centered around their flagship show: Red vs. Blue - an animated series using the assets of Microsoft's Halo series.
I was initially hired as a part of the machinima team, as an environment artist and machinimator. However, over the course of the next few years, I gradually took on more responsibilities including shooting and editing complete videos, writing one-off episodes, and applying VFX as part of the Viz-Post team.
For season 17 (singularity), I was promoted to episode director, which, in addition to maintaining my previous roles, saw me overseeing teams of actors, writers, and artists. I was tasked with giving and receiving constructive creative notes to the team and from the studio execs to complete the season under budget and ahead of schedule.
The series was distributed on Rooster Teeth's website behind their paid SVOD membership.
